TESTIMONIALS
I knew the Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub was special when it made my face feel smooth and silky but I never imagined it would do the trick on my arms. It's bad enough that the triceps are impossible to tone but to have dry, rough skin from the winter just adds insult to injury. Hello Micro Scrub! After several uses, my triceps look and feel great! Bye-bye bumps! Next stop, the legs. The Micro Scrub is a versatile product that can be used for a total body make over.

Absolutely love the products and they are so easy to share! I was telling a friend of mine about the Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub and another woman happened to be listening. After I was through, she commented on how "excited and passionate I was about the products and said, "She just had to know what I was talking about"! Just that easy . . . another opportunity to share!

Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub is my beauty ‘secret’ for a healthy, glowing face and smooth elbows, knees and feet.

How much do I love my Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub? Let me count the ways. First, I love to mix it with the Crème Cleanse and use on my face twice a week. It feels like I just spent an hour getting a facial!! Oh la la!! Second, I love to mix it with the Crème Cleanse again and lather it on my hands then rinse/dry and finish with the Celloxylin Hydro Burst-Moisture Intense Body Lotion. Being a mother of three, I do a lot of dishes and cleaning but using this mix three times a week has given me the softest hands in town! Third, I love to mix it with my Celloxylin Hydro-Burst Moisture Intense Cleanse and use it on the rest of my body then finish with the body lotion twice a week. I used to have persistent dry, flaking skin on my arms and legs but since I have started using this mixture dry skin has been a thing of the past. Fourth, I have started using it on my feet twice a week then finishing with the body lotion. My once dry cracking heals are now smooth and silky. I just LOVE that scrub!!!

FAQs
Why is exfoliation an important part of my skin care regimen?
The skin is made up of three layers – the hypodermis, dermis, and epidermis. Skin cells are constantly regenerated, with new skin cells created in the dermis and old, dead skin cells shed from the epidermis. This process keeps skin clean and smooth, helps prevent pore clogging, and reduces acne breakouts. As we age, the natural sloughing process can slow and become uneven. In fact, complete skin cell turnover slows from about 2 weeks at birth to 4-6 weeks at age 50. The result – dull, rough looking skin, clogged pores, and blemishes. Exfoliation helps prevent skin from becoming dull and damaged looking by removing dead cells and encouraging cell turnover.
How often should I exfoliate?
While exfoliation is an important step in promoting healthy skin cell turnover, over-exfoliation can cause skin drying and irritation. It is generally recommended that you exfoliate 1-3 times per week, depending on your particular skin type and exposure to environmental factors that cause skin damage. For example, oily skin tends to slough off skin cells less easily, so an individual with oily skin may exfoliate more frequently than someone with normal or sensitive skin. When designing a regimen suited to your needs, by sure to assess how your skin feels before and after exfoliating to determine the frequency that is best for you!
What is the difference between mechanical and chemical exfoliation?
Mechanical exfoliation involves physically removing dead skin cells from the surface using an abrasive, while chemical exfoliation involves products that use enzymes or acids to help loosen the bonds that hold dead skin cells to the epidermis. The Enzyme Activated Micros Scrub gently and effectively achieves exfoliation through both methods - beet sugar crystals mechanically exfoliate, while the proteolytic enzyme, papain, found in Carica Papaya Extract helps to dissolve proteins that hold dead skin cells in place.
Why is beet sugar used as the primary exfoliant?
In addition to the fact that the fine grain size of the beet sugar crystals is ideal for gentle mechanical exfoliation, sugar is fantastic anti-inflammatory ingredient. This ensures that skin remains calm and soothed while dead skin cells are massaged away.
