How often should I use Crème Cleanse? What if I have dry or oily skin?
You should cleanse twice daily, morning and night, before applying additional products in the Celloxylin skin care regimen. Though Celloxylin Crème Cleanse is extremely gentle and non-drying, individuals with very dry skin may chose to cleanse at night, and simply rinse their face with warm water in the morning. Those with combination or oily skin should not cleanse more than two times per day! Over-cleansing may disrupt the skin’s natural barrier function, drying skin out and potentially resulting in increased oil production.

Does crème cleanse contain sulfates?
No, all Apriori Beauty products are sulfate free. The primary foam-boosting agent in Crème Cleanse is derived from coconut.

Is Crème Cleanse gentle enough for sensitive skin?
Yes, the lack of harsh ingredients such as soaps, fragrances, and sulfates make this product gentle enough to use on sensitive skin. In fact the anti-inflammatory ingredients in Crème Cleanse can help sooth sensitive skin, and the Nutrient Reservoir encourages skin cell health.

What is the importance of choosing a cleanser with gentle ingredients?
The skin is covered with a natural barrier layer called the acid mantle; this layer is the first line of defense against bacteria and other contaminants. Over-cleansing, or using cleansers with harsh surfactants that are alkaline (have a pH level above 7.0) can strip the skin of its natural acid mantle, disrupting barrier function and making it more susceptible to infection and inflammation. Over-cleansing can also remove natural oils, resulting in dry, tight skin, potential breakouts, and even eczema.
