Why did you become an Apriori Beauty Consultant (what intrigued you)?
I was first introduced to Network Marketing 11 years ago. After hearing how this business model worked, I knew it was the answer to my financial dreams. What I didn't know, was exactly how to execute it. So, instead of getting out of my comfort zone and figuring it out, I stayed in my comfort zone and hoped and wished that someday I would be able to pursue the Network Marketing model successfully. Well that day finally came. It came in the form of Apriori Beauty and because of my friendship with one of the Founding Partners, Susan Twellman.

I have known Susan, both personally and professionally, for over 12 years. She is someone I have admired, respected and loved for most of those 12 years, so when she told me she was starting a new company, I was very excited, I really didn't care what it was, I just knew I was "in." When she revealed that it was a network marketing company she was developing with Elizabeth, given her experience, I was even more excited. Lastly, the fact that it was a network marketing company with a philanthropic mission of women helping women (Foundation Apriority) made me certain this company was my future.

One of the things I have always admired about Susan is her generous spirit and desire to help people. Because she and Elizabeth were creating a company that reflects those qualities, I knew I would now have a place where I could cultivate those same qualities I have always admired in Susan.

What is your favorite Apriori Beauty product, and why?
I actually have two favorite products, the Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub and Hydro-Burst Moisture Intense Lotion. Since I was a little girl, I have had Keratosis Pilaris, which is basically a harmless condition of the skin characterized by small, rough bumps centered on the hair follicles; commonly found on back of the upper arm. Since I have been using the Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub in conjunction with the Hydro-Burst Moisture Intense Lotion, my arms have been super smooth. Needless to say, I am addicted to both of these products.

From this experience, what is one piece of advice you would like to share with other Consultants striving to promote to Manager?
Be consistent and persistent. To be consistent, strive to accomplish a goal every day, and if that doesn't happen, keep doing something, even if it is only once a week or even once a month. To be persistent means: don't quit! Be creative. Think outside the box; do whatever it takes to make it happen and most importantly, get out of your comfort zone. I love living in my comfort zone but know if I keep doing what I've been doing in my comfort zone, I will keep getting only what I've been getting, which is a nice paycheck working for someone else. Stepping out of my comfort zone and building an Apriori Beauty business will allow me to work for myself, help others, hang out with my friends and get a nice paycheck. Seems like the perfect Win-Win to me.
