Adaptogen
Also referred to as rejuvenating herbs or restoratives, adaptogens are natural herb products that are thought to increase the body's resistance biological, chemical, and physical stressors, including trauma, stress, anxiety and fatigue. All adaptogens contain antioxidants, but antioxidants are not necessarily adaptogens. Commonly known adaptogens include Rhodiola rosea, Noni, Licorice, and Ginseng.
